Good afternoon.
Lt. Gov. Jon Husted announced $20 million in grants have been awarded to retool or expand manufacturing facilities in Ohio. These grants were awarded to help continue producing personal protective equipment locally.
Each grant is worth up to $500,000 and is expected to create 829 new jobs and retain 1,133 Ohio jobs. More than half the grants have been awarded to small businesses with less than 25 employees.
