BUCKEYE FESTIVAL:  Friday May 8 through Sunday May 10, 2009 and Friday May 15 through Sunday May 17, 2009.  Held at 2011 Columbus Ave. (U.S. Rt. 62 NE) in Washington Court House, OH featuring flea market, crafts, rides, food, and live bands.  Cruise-In May 9.  Antiques-Collectibles Auction May 10.  Tractor Show and Swap Meet May 16 and 17.  Free admission and parking.  Contact Ron or Nancy (740) 335-6720 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. 

DEER CREEK TRIATHLON & DUATHLON: Sunday June 7, 2009 - 08:00am
This course is a mostly flat and fast course with some rolling hills on the bike. Triathletes will be swimming a 750 meter course (2-laps Olympic, 1-lap Sprint) in Deer Creek Lake. The Duathlete's opening 5k run is out and back featuring a run across the Deer Creek Dam Levy. So, don't forget your cross country legs. The bike courses are on mostly local country roads (20k Sprint, 40k Olympic) The race finishes with an out and back run that crosses the Deer Creek Dam Levy and heads onto a local country road. The run course is almost completely flat but does require extra effort when crossing the grass-covered levy. This race is a perfect "first race of the season" race to get you ready for an exciting season of racing.

THE PFEIFER’S CAMP MEETING 2009:  Thursday June 18 through Sunday June 21, 2009.  Held in Washington Court House, OH.  Four days of family fun and devotion featuring gospel music, golfing, camping, shopping excursions and more.  $ Admission.  Sponsored by the Pfeifer’s Evangelist Association.  (740) 335-9641.

JEFFERSONVILLE COLONIAL DAYSDate to be determined.  Held in Jeffersonville, OH.  Craft show, antique farm equipment, silent auction, concessions, entertainment, parade, and more.  Sponsored by the Jeffersonville Community Association.  Don Parsley.  (740) 426-6819. 

FAYETTE COUNTY FAIR:  Monday July 27 through Saturday August 1, 2009.  Held in Washington Court House, OH.  The agricultural highlight of the year, featuring demolition derbies, tractor and truck pulls, harness racing and many other exciting events.  $ Admission.  Sponsored by the Fayette County Agricultural Society.  (740) 335-5856.

SHOW OF THE SEASONSaturday November 21, 2009, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..  Held at the Fayette County Fairgrounds, Washington Court House, OH.  Annual juried craft show featuring one of the largest gatherings of crafters in Southwest Ohio.  $1 Admission.  Sponsored by the Miami Trace Elementary PTO.  Christy Bryant.  (740) 335-1791.
